Students from China, Germany, Finland, Indonesia and Russia participated in the international online IT school. The agenda contained lectures, master-classes, workshops and student design jobs. The lecturers were invited from the universities, NArFU academic partners: Emden-Leer University of Applied Sciences (Germany), University of Oregon (USA), University of Deusto at Bilbao (Spain) and Dalian Neusoft Institute of Information (China).
Master classes on deep learning of neural networks, blockchain, IoT, project management were held for students. And, furthermore, participants got an opportunity to present their design ideas with experts’ feedback.

The international workshop on disruptive technology transfer was held on October 14 in the framework of the school. The event industrial partners discussed the general trends in IT and presented their company and region cases devoted to application of IT in municipal management. The Singularis Lab case connected with augmented reality was presented by CEO Dmitry Kryzhanovskiy.

On October 15 a Singularis Lab engineer Lev Borodinov presented a lecture on Kalman filter to the school participants. Kalman filter helps to manage with the noisiness of the data obtained from the sensors (for example, in robot navigation tasks). Whether the participants got the new knowledge or refreshed the old ones, it’s time to apply them in practice. They’ll take the chance at the international student hackathon that will be held on October 29 as the second stage of the school.
The event industrial partners are going to present real design tasks as the hackathon problems, and the winners will be invited to take an internship in the company.
