Success of the Singularis Lab employee at the ID R&D facial antispoofing challenge

publication date: October 9, 2018

At the end of September, our teammate Alexey Alekseev was awarded for the 2nd place in the Facial antispoofing challenge, conducted by ID R&D – one of the leading R&D companies in the global biometric industry.

ID R&D facial antispoofing challenge is a two-stage championship, the participants of which should determine the class affiliation of the face image - either to the real frames or to the frames shot by mobile devices from the screen (spoof frames).

The stages were held from 06/08/2018 to 16/09/2018 and from 16/09/2018 to 19/09/2018.

The venue was Boosters.pro - the largest platform for solving problems in analytics and machine learning in Eastern Europe.

The decent prize fund was undoubtedly an excellent incentive to try their hand at fighting for prizes.

Congratulations to Alexei and we hope that more victories will be achieved!
