Thousands of different conferences are held annually in the world, but you will always meet Singularis Lab employees at one of them - DotNext conference. And this year, on November 6-7, our colleagues Natalia Usacheva and Aleksey Zhuravlev visited DotNext 2019 Moscow, which was held at the WTC Congress Center in Moscow.

We already visited DotNext Piter at the beginning of the year, and were aware how surprising would be their conference in Moscow, but first things first.

It is worth reminding that DotNext is a conference devoted to the .NET Platform development, which is annually attended by more than 1000 participants, and more than 30 speakers and experts. The conference is held for 2 days, that is two days of communication with brothers in trade, developers from the largest companies (Microsoft, JetBrains) at the BOF, party and in discussion areas.

Our colleagues made specific mention of the following lectures and speakers: Кirill Skrygan (JetBrains) “Platform Wars”, Мicheal Staib (ChilliCream) “Hot Chocolate: An introduction to GraphQL on ASP.Net Core”, Маxim Arshinov (HighTech Group) “Splendour and misery of the subject field” and Nikolay Molchanov (JUG Ru Group) “Mutational analysis”.

The main difference between DotNext 2019 Moscow and other conferences are workshops, where within two hours you can learn a lot not only in theory but also in practice. They were led by the speakers Dmitry Soshnikov (Microsoft) and Maxim Arshinov (HighTech Group) who, in addition to workshops, made their presentations.

It is pleasant to observe that from year to year such conferences are organized at a decent level in our country. At the DotNext conference Singularis Lab engineers learned about new tools that grow in popularity among developers. And made a list of topics they now want to study.
