The III youth school «High performance computing in Grid» completed

On March 19 – 24, 2012 the III International youth school «High performance computing in Grid-systems», included in the scientific school set organized by Intel in 2012, took place in North Arctic Federal University. A wide range of topics, from the basic approaches to high-performance application development to the access models for IPDC, Grid and Cloud, was studied within the school.

The city Volgograd was presented at the school by our company engineer Shapovalov Oleg, one of the first persons who got Intel Parallel Programming Professional certificate of the Basic level. Our colleague participated in the school both as a student and a trainer, conducting classes on parallel programming together with Nemnyugin Sergey Andreevich, associated professor of Saint-Petersburg State University, one of the leading experts in high-performance computing in Russia, a developer of the platform parseplus.com.
