Our engineers visited the wind turbine blade factory of the Vestas company in Ulyanovsk on January 20.
AI Wind Manager detects the defects on already functioning wind turbines. But defect detection is also necessary at the manufacturing stage. Therefore, our engineers visited the Vestas factory to research the process of assembling the blades for scaling-up AI Wind Manager. We found out how it was assembled and prepared for use. We also saw the blades closely: the length of one blade was 62 m, the weight was more than 12 tons.
