First All-Russia Robotics School

October 8–14, the year of 2012 Volgograd State Technical University supported by Intel company, Saint-Petersburg State University (SPbSU) and Nizhny Novgorod Education and Research Contributory Fund (NFSOI), hosted the first All-Russia youth school for embedded systems and robotics.

During 1 week students from Volgograd and other Russian cities (for the participants geography locations you may refer to the Roboschool website) heard a course of lectures dedicated to multiagent technologies, embedded systems, robotics basics, high-performance computing and Android application development, performed by the SPbSU professors and Intel specialists. In addition to the primary lessons the school offered to trainees the Technological Entrepreneurship workshop, Creative thinking master classes and various contests and competitions for the Robotics.

Our company provided sponsorship for the Roboschool-2012. Some of our specialists were actively engaged into the school organizing activities, namely Dmitry Kryzhanovskiy – organizing committee chairman, Alexander Kataev – assistant to the organizing committee chairman, Lev Borodinov - Code Game Challenge competition coordinator, Anatoly Kryzhanovskiy – technical support.
