publication date: September 21, 2017

The qualification stage of the Quarterfinals of the ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest was held in 20 cities of the Volga and South regions on September 17. More than 200 teams participated in the competition. The students competed for the right to participate in the ACM ICPC Quarterfinal, that will take place in Saratov in October 2017.

This qualifying competition was held for the first time in the Volga and South region. And Volgograd became one of the host cities. Volgograd State Technical University was chosen as the regional location for holding the qualification round because of the rich history of Volgograd STU teams’ participation in the World programming championship.

It is a great pride for us, because Singularis Lab engineers were participant of the Volgograd STU teams and also have been training their alma mater finalists for the recent 14 years.

The full standings of the competition are available here.
