Description: On October 6–12, 2014, the 3rd All-Russian Youth School on Robotics and Embedded Systems was held at Electronics and Computer Science Institute of Volgograd State Technical University (VSTU). It was the third time when we participated in its organization jointly with Intel Inc., Saint Petersburg State University, Nizhny Novgorod State University, Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University, and Nizhny Novgorod Fund of Encouragement of Education and Researches.

More than 80 students and postgraduates, selected from 200 candidates, participated in the school. Half of them were our guests from other cities: Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Arkhangelsk, Ulyanovsk, Volgodonsk, Chelyabinsk, Tomsk, Novosibirsk, Chita. A very intensive educational program was offered to the participants. The program of training courses conducted by 20 trainers was divided into two sections "Robotics Hardware" and "Artificial Intelligence Algorithms".

In addition to the lectures, a competition of projects was held on the following directions: "Computer Vision", "Mathematical Modeling", "Mobile and wireless technologies" and "Robotics".
